"I absolutely love coming here! Hasn't changed their prices since I remember, probably the cheapest fish and chips in ashburton at $2 for a scoop of chips. The owner is so kind and friendly towards everybody. She's the sweetest lady ever if you want a cheap feed I reccomend coming here. Super yummy!"

"Small shop but awesome food and service - $2.50 for fish and pretty damn tasty! As others have said - cash only, (they'll accept Au cash) but there's an ATM around the corner if needed. Worth every $. Generous portions too!"

"Over all the food was good. Good value. I got 1 fish 1hotdog 1 scoop of chips, and a cheeseburger all for $10 (may 2022) Friendly service. Fish- a good size, had a good batter to fish ratio. The fish was nice and creamy. Hot dog- was a good hot Chips where ok. Burgers fine. To sum up I will go back."

"Value for money here cant be beat. Fish tasted good, Fillets were cut quite thin and batter was quite thick but overall the fillets where still of decent size and at $3 each you cant complain. Recommend if you want a affordable feed of Fish and Chips."
